/"Trust is synonymous with brands. So in the beginning, when you're starting a brand, no one knows who you are. Trust is built through third-party validation, whether it's endorsements, whether it's testimonials, whether it's reviews, whether it's PR, whether it's influencers, whether it's all these places where you can borrow someone else's trust. And over time, once you've established a consistency in the marketplace and you know, a certain awareness.

You'll start building trust just by consistency, just by showing what you stand for and people will start to trust you. Honestly, longevity also builds trust, it's like you've been around for a while so I guess you're doing something right and people start to trust the brand. And then also your reputation, like you're known for delivering and people, word of mouth drives most of the purchases ultimately.

So a lot of trust is built through early adopters who don’t need word of mouth and are willing to take the risk of telling people how great you are. All of these things matter when it comes to building a business. And that trust is a big factor. 75% of people won’t buy from a company they don’t inherently trust.
