Blood flow of the heart
Blood enters the right atrium from the body, travels through the right ventricle, and is pushed into the pulmonary arteries of the lungs. After picking up oxygen, blood returns to the heart through the pulmonary veins, into the left atrium, to the left ventricle, and to body tissues through the aorta.
