Here's a quick list of things to prioritize for your online session, from a therapist!
1. A private room, corner or space that you can access. This could be in your home, in your building, outside or at the home of a trusted friend or relative.
2. Water or your favorite beverage to sip. Keep hydrating!
3. An Internet or mobile data connection.
4. An object to help you relax and refocus. Therapy sessions can sometimes feel overwhelming. Some examples: a soft ball, a soft fabric, etc.
5. A handy pocket notebook! That you can use to take notes or doodle, during or just after your session.
