In this video I discuss what your goal should be as an event photographer. First of all, I must point out that there is no “right way”. We all have our different ways of doing things, often rooted in our values (and sometimes in arbitrary habits that we should question). But of course, there are some things we should all do as event photographers, like tell a visual story. Personally, my goal has always been to capture spontaneous images that are meaningful and filled with emotion. I hope this video helps and I would love to know what YOU are focusing on when it comes to event photography.
