With his theory of general relativity, Einstein illuminated the vast expanse of the cosmos, but he was also instrumental in the development of quantum mechanics to describe the microworld. In Einstein's time, these advances were considered unrelated, but recent discoveries suggest they may be secretly linked, significantly advancing our understanding of the quantum threads that could weave the fabric of space -time. Leonard Susskind, Ana Alonso-Serrano and Mark Van Raamsdonk join Brian Greene to examine this new link and explore its implications for uniting the laws of the large and those of the small.
