EdTech Tools Digital Whiteboard and Equation Editor for Online Math Teaching
In this video, you will learn about Edtech tools from one of the world-renowned educational technology companies, Promethean. The software is ActivInspire Studio and has a whiteboard, a math equation editor, and a set of math tools such as a ruler, protractor, compass, rolling die, etc. These EdTech math tools are extremely useful for teaching math online. I will show you how to use a ruler, a protractor to draw closed arcs and filled arcs, a compass to draw a circle. All these math tools have three types of hover actions. One is to move the tool, the other is to enlarge or reduce it, and the third is to rotate. I will also show you how to use a rolling dice game that can be used in a classroom where, for example, you want to randomly select a student who will present first. This is just one use case, there could be several.
I will also show you how to draw shapes in the Activinspire studio. Also how to change line width and fill color. The connector is also available and can be used to draw flowcharts and flowcharts which could be very important in some applications.
