Learn about two toolkits that support drought monitoring and drought decision-making in the Lower 48 states: the Integrated Water Portal and the Climate Toolkit.

The Integrated Water Portal brings together water data from several different agencies into a mapping data exploration and visualization tool designed to support statewide and regional drought monitoring. basin. This site allows users to quickly explore regional and local water conditions with an emphasis on surface and near-surface supplies.

The Climate Toolbox is a set of mapping/graphic tools that can be used to explore real-time climate/hydrological data with comparisons to the past and insight into the future (subseasonal to seasonal forecasts and future projections) at mesh locations.

The presentation also features user perspectives, including how the Washington State Drought Coordinator is using The Climate Toolbox to monitor drought in the state.
