Perhaps the question should be rephrased as: "Do you like working alone or do you prefer to be involved in all decision-making?"
There are several ways to approach this question:
1️⃣ As an artist, you prefer to work alone and simply create your art. You're not prepared to talk to a group of potential or existing clients about every business and design issue.
2️⃣ You prefer to be right in the mix of all design planning, negotiation and marketing considerations. You like to be in the know and talk to people about all *things*.
When it comes to artistic license, you have a choice! You can either work alone and let a talent agent take care of everything, or you can go it alone and represent your art yourself.
Either option is perfectly acceptable and simply a matter of preference. There is no right or wrong way. One method does not guarantee more success than another.
