Someone asked me the other day, "Do you think I really need to work with a financial advisor?" So I told them the Warren Buffett quote: “Never ask a barber if you need a haircut.” But then I let him know at Streamline Financial that we're really not salespeople and we're not desperate to work with new clients and we only want to work with people who will actually benefit from it. In fact, we don't work with anyone for whom our value is not greater than the cost of working together. So I wanted to share a few reasons why this might be a good thing. idea of working with a financial advisor. and by the way, if you don't want to work with an advisor, check out the DIY retirement plan in the description below. I frequently talk to people who decided to move a large portion of their investments into cash because they felt it was the right thing to do. 10 years ago they would not have made this decision, but now, as they will soon use this money as income, they wanted to secure it. but there are better ways to secure your nest egg and your income. And it’s NOT by purchasing insurance or annuity products.
