Conflict resolution questions can be asked in many formats, including:

– How do you manage conflict?
– Give me an example of a situation where you had a conflict at work.
– Give me an example of a situation where you had to resolve a serious conflict?
– Give me an example of a time when you had to resolve a conflict between colleagues or team members.
– What would you do if you were incompatible or in conflict with a colleague?
– How do you handle conflict resolution and share examples.

The best way to answer this question is to give an example that clearly shows a situation in which you handled conflict resolution in a way that demonstrated empathy, understanding, patience and emotional maturity, by especially if multiple parties were involved.

The best way to do this is to use the STAR interview method. The STAR method is an acronym for Situation Task Action Result. If you use this method to answer this question,
it is much easier to guarantee that your answer will include a solid example in which you describe the situation (what happened), the task (what needed to be done), the action (what you did/them actions you took) and the result (what you did). happened, what was the result, whether on yourself, on the team, on colleagues, on customers or on the company's customers).
