The simulation here is a 100×100 periodic spin system in an XXZ model at T0. Using the mean field approximation, it is possible to simulate the temporal evolution of this many-body system. In our case, the applied quenching goes from Z ferromagnetism to XY plane ferromagnetism.

The graph shows the evolution of vortices (orange) and anti-vortices (cyan). You can observe the annihilation of these points by coupling.
