Many museums in China offer more immersive exhibitions using augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies. Newly introduced AR glasses add more life to exhibits at the archaeological ruins of Liangzhu City. When visitors wear the special pair of glasses, detailed information about each relic and other support messages are displayed. Meanwhile, the AR glasses are equipped with audio commentary, allowing visitors to learn throughout the tour. Sanxingdui Museum has also opened an online exhibition hall where visitors can view exhibits via virtual reality.
