In this video I will introduce you to nucleic acids, DNA and RNA. I will teach you the structure of DNA and RNA, as well as the names and structures of the five nucleotide bases. I'll show you what makes nucleotide bases bond to each other and explain why DNA doesn't have a 2-prime hydroxyl group. Next, I'll teach you the difference between nucleotides and nucleosides, as well as the naming rules that go with them.
