I've been tracking my calories for years now, so here are some calorie tracking tips PART 2

1️⃣ Backup Protein
– I always make sure to have cooked or raw proteins in reserve
– Either marinated or plain
– Super handy when you need extra protein to meet your protein goals
– Really helps reduce the risk of overloading on calories and cheating

2️⃣ Meal preparation
– One of the main reasons people don't consume their calories for the day is because they aren't prepared.
– At least preparing half of your meals is more than enough, so for example if you come home you can cook something different
– Helps plan your day and puts your calories and macros in a better position
– Saves you money in the long run
– Teaches you how to cook
– Gives you emergency meals

3️⃣ Food Scanner
– Most cooking apps have this feature
– Scans the barcode to give you nutritional information about foods
– Time saving
– Just make sure to double check the foods you scanned and make sure they match the nutrition label because sometimes they will be incorrect.
