Due to bad weather, the K2 rope repair team is two days behind schedule and the weather continues to deteriorate.
Meanwhile, climbers are crowding into the lower camps of the mountains, and one can only hope that a bottleneck does not lead to disaster.

Kristin Harila and her Sherpa guides are at Camp 2. July 26 is the last day of her self-imposed deadline to climb all the 8,000-meter peaks in three months. K2 is her last.

With the weather worsening and the pressure mounting, all eyes are surely turning upwards.
