The Ultimate Guide to Gigantoraptors. I explain where to find the gigantoraptor, how to tame the gigantoraptor, and how the gigantoraptor feather works.
Locations: Here are 50 pair coordinates provided by me and other survivors online.
Tame: Drop an egg for the parent, egg type affects distraction time, trap the parent (this is optional, but makes things easier)
Eliminate nearby threats
Press the interact button in the middle of the nest to start the taming mini-game.
Tap the emote prompt that imitates the baby
This allows you to progress in taming
Repeat until tamed
Abilities:
Peck attack deals little damage and harvests creatures
Stomp attack does more damage, harvests resources, and has small knockback
Special Ability: Locate nearby babies, has decent range
Slide: jump, then hold jump button, travels a good distance, lights up in no time, letting go of jump cancels slide
Feather: You can pluck 1 feather from each Gigantoraptor every 24 hours, this is real world time, nothing reduces this cooldown.
Put this feather in the inventory of a female in a pair, 1 feather is consumed for each egg laid. This provides a chance to pass on a specific higher stat from its parents.
Saddle: Cares for up to 2 babies at a time, feeds babies while survivor rides, no passive feeding, must be lower level than Gigantoraptor
Special ability while babies are in the saddle, gives a target, kills targets to increase bond
Fully bound = 10% damage resistance buff, stacks with imprints
Pulling babies out of the saddle and rolling the footprints
This is all I know at this point:
