Calgarians are assessing the damage Tuesday after a severe thunderstorm swept through the city Monday evening, bringing hail, winds and heavy rain.
Several homes were damaged by large hail the size of golf balls, and an emergency alert asked people to take shelter.
Meanwhile, flooding and damage at the Calgary International Airport (YYC) has led to flight cancellations and stranded passengers.
