How to organize your first art exhibition, whether it's in a café, an art gallery or a group art exhibition. These 5 tips will help you create your first art installation with maximum success. Welzie explains these lessons about hanging art installations from 20 years of hanging art exhibitions around the world.

Welzie is a Maui art and artist in residence at the Andaz Resort Wailea Maui. Specializing in surfboard foam, fiberglass and resin, Welzie creates fun and whimsical artwork inspired by the Hawaiian Islands. Welzie creates his works in his South Maui art studio and his Maui Art Gallery is located on the 5th floor of the Andaz Resort Wailea, Maui. Welzie has art collectors from around the world and his works have been exhibited in art galleries in Hawaii, as well as the United States and Japan.

Welzie enjoys art coaching and art advice for beginning artists because he knows what it means to be an artist trying to make it in the art world. Welzie was fortunate to have advice from a fellow artist, which helped Welzie have a positive projection. Welzie hopes to inspire and help the next generation of artists who just need a little help and guidance learning the craft of being a professional artist.
