——————————————————————————————— Do you want to start freelancing but don't know how to do it? In this video, I will share 5 amazing tips that will surely help you start your freelancing journey and kick-start your professional experience. I personally followed these tips during my freelancing time and my studies. Here are 5 tips to start your freelancing career –
1. Start simple
2. Start with your contacts
3. Teamwork
4. Be social
5. Be a jack of all trades

1. Start simple –
When I say just start, I mean that you don’t need to be an expert in the field you want to start freelancing in. If you keep thinking that you want to be perfect and only then start doing real projects, you will never be ready. Just jump into the first project and learn as you go.

2. Start with your contacts –
To get your first live project, your first freelance order, it is always better to start with someone you know. Maybe your relatives or friends who have their own business might want a website, software or an application. You can approach them and the advantage of this is that you can experiment more since they are in your contact and they already know you. The risk is less even if you miss your first project or delay the schedule.

3. Teamwork –
I don't even need to explain why you should team up, but in short, teamwork will help you gain more knowledge from your team members, you will learn a lot more, the project success rate will increase, and risks and responsibilities will decrease. Moreover, you will learn how to work as a team.

4. Be social –
Social media will help you reach out to people other than your contacts and give you a platform to showcase your work to the world. Start with a Facebook or Instagram page or any other free social media platform. Later, you can have your own portfolio website. It also gives your work a more professional look.

5. Be a jack of all trades –
This is my favorite field. When I say being a jack of all trades, I mean trying different technologies rather than trying to master a particular technology (programming language, framework or whatever). When you are a beginner, it is best to try as many different technologies as possible, even if you are not proficient in all of them. For example, you can try web development and then move on to mobile apps or software development and use different technologies as well. This will add a wide range of technologies to your skill set and then there will be less risk if one of the technologies becomes obsolete.
