The great thing about a CGM is that it brings the future consequences of your food and lifestyle choices into the present moment.

A pop habit may not manifest into type 2 diabetes for decades. But you will see a blood sugar spike on your CGM within a few minutes. This creates something called the Hawthorne effect: you change your behavior because your behavior is being monitored.
