The universe is a vast expanse populated by cosmic mysteries and inexplicable phenomena. Among these mysteries, anomalies in the universe stand out as captivating enigmas that challenge our understanding of physics and astrophysics. These anomalies, often detected by advanced space telescopes such as Hubble, James Webb or via observations from terrestrial radio telescopes, open windows onto unexplored aspects of our cosmos.

Anomalies in space, from supermassive black holes to neutron stars, pulsars and quasars, fascinate astronomers and scientists around the world. These celestial bodies and astronomical phenomena reveal astonishing features that may well challenge the established laws of astrophysics. Additionally, the study of gravitational waves and dark matter continues to push the boundaries of what we know about the structure and dynamics of the universe.

Thanks to the use of cutting-edge technologies and dedicated space missions, such as those carried out by NASA, researchers are working to uncover the secrets of these anomalies. Each discovery raises new questions, fueling a perpetual cycle of research and exploration aimed at deciphering deep space's darkest secrets.

– Thanks to the Hubble Space Telescope, which probed space in the second half of the 20th century, astronomers attempted a major challenge.
To draw a map of the cosmos, locate our solar system and the Milky Way in the Universe and predict their direction.

Although Albert Einstein presented his theory of general relativity in 1917, suggesting that the Universe was static and limited, he was forced to admit his error ten years later.
In 1929, the Hubble-Lemaître law, predicted two years earlier by Lemaître, demonstrated that our universe is continuously expanding, and what's more, at breakneck speed.

Like all galaxies, our Milky Way is caught in a cosmic flow triggered by the Big Bang.
Since then, the early universe has expanded in all directions and at an ever-increasing speed.
As a result, the distance between all galactic structures continues to grow.

Like splashes, galaxies are imagined to move at similar speeds on either side of their starting point.
But this is not the case.
The force of gravity causes many objects to group together into clusters and superclusters.
The local cluster, the group of galaxies to which we belong, is hurtling at more than 2 million km/h towards the Virgo cluster, through the immense Laniakea group.
