Starting a Twitch channel basically means you're going to try to go from 0 viewers, and that's okay! It's incredibly difficult, but everyone starts somewhere! Today we're going to cover 32 simple tips to help you grow your Twitch channel from 0 viewers!

You can expect to have between 0 and no viewers for your first broadcast or first week. I want you to turn off the viewer count and stream as if you have hundreds of viewers for two reasons: first to build your confidence and practice your skills as a viewer. artist.

You have to think of EVERY STREAM as if it produces content for other platforms, if you sit there waiting for a single viewer before you get entertained, just playing a game with a zombie face, then you are losing your time.

You need to stream with the idea of creating content for Tik tok, Yt shorts, Instagram, full YouTube videos and any of the thousands of other platforms.

How to grow on Twitch?

If you want to grow your Twitch stream, it's important to be critical. Being critical isn't a bad thing, people say, "Oh, don't be so critical of yourself!" ".

But there are many things you can control and improve, like your visuals, your audio, and most importantly, the content you create. Look at your VoD and be honest with yourself, is it up to par. Does your microphone sound good? Are you committed? Is it easy to watch and enjoy or is there something about it that is off-putting? Be honest, push yourself to grow and become a better artist!

Because ultimately the only way to grow your stream is to grow yourself and be critical in a positive way.

What bit rate and settings should I use for streaming?

The easiest way to understand bitrate is to call it what it actually is, your download speed on Twitch servers.

Now you will need a higher bitrate depending on the quality you want for your stream, this means 1080p 60fps will need a bitrate of 6000 which is roughly equivalent to a speed of 6 megabit download on your side.

By lowering your resolution and frame rate, you can make streaming much easier, for example, if you set your base canvas size to 1920 x 1080, but change your output to 1280 x 720 otherwise Known as 720p, you only need a bitrate of 4500. or 4.5 megabits.

If you still want 1080, you can even just lower your frame rate from 60fps to 30fps and then adjust it to 4500 bits.
