3 old-fashioned starters in 30 minutes

In the past, we shared our recipes with our friends and neighbors, but today, many of us search for recipes on the Internet. We miss the human connection when we do this. I was so happy to run into Lil Robison at the grocery store and she shared some delicious old fashioned quick appetizers with me. I added one myself.

Ham, cream cheese spread

1 can of crumbled ham
1 small pot of herb and garlic cream cheese spread
3 chopped green onions.

Mix everything together and serve on crackers

Blue Cheese and Garlic Biscuits

1 package pre-made cookies or use recipe linked below
¼ cup melted butter
2 oz blue cheese or any other melted cheese of your choice
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped

Melt the butter in a small baking dish and add the minced garlic. Open the box of cookies and cut them into quarters. Add them to the bottom of the mold then add the crumbled blue cheese over the biscuits. Cook according to package directions. I baked them at 375 degrees for 18 minutes.

Salami chips

Place a single layer of salami on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in the same oven at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until the chips are crisp. Remove from oven on paper towels to drain some of the fat, then let cool. You can use them simply as chips or as a dip.
